Using FMLY Table
You can use it if you are 13 or older and can form a contract where you live. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
Cooking is yours to judge
This is the part worth reading twice. Recipes on FMLY Table are generated by the Kaci AI assistant, and software is wrong sometimes. It can be wrong about a temperature, about how long something needs, or about whether an ingredient is safe for you.
- You are the cook. Use your own judgement about heat, time, freshness and doneness. If something looks or smells wrong, it is wrong, whatever the recipe says.
- Allergies are yours to check. We ask what you avoid and we try hard to respect it, but you must read every ingredient before you cook or eat. Never rely on this alone for a serious allergy.
- This is not dietary or medical advice. If a doctor has told you something about food, listen to the doctor.
What you make is yours
The recipes, notes and photographs you create are yours. You keep them. We ask only for the permission needed to run the service — to store what you make, show it back to you, and show a version to other people if and when you choose to share it.
If you share a version, you are letting others read it and take a copy into their own kitchen. You can make it private again, which stops it being found — though somebody who already took a copy keeps theirs, in the same way a friend keeps a recipe you wrote on a card.
Only share what is yours to share, and do not use FMLY Table to publish anything unlawful or abusive. We can remove a shared recipe and close an account for that.
Paying
- Kitchen+ renews automatically — monthly or yearly, whichever you chose — until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from your profile. It stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
- A free trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel before then.
- We can change what things cost. If we do, we will tell you before it affects a renewal, and you can cancel.
- Payments are handled by Stripe under their terms. Refunds are not automatic, but write to us — we are reasonable.
What happens if you stop paying
Nothing is deleted. You go back to Kitchen and the limits that come with it. Recipes and versions past that limit are kept and hidden, not destroyed, and they come back the day you subscribe again.
Stopping
You can stop whenever you like. We can close an account that is being used to break these terms, or to harm somebody. Except where somebody is being harmed, we will tell you why.
What we do not promise
FMLY Table is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, always be right, or suit any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, FMLY Table LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, because it cannot.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. Carrying on using FMLY Table after that means you accept it; if you do not, cancel.
The legal bit
These terms are governed by the laws of California, and any dispute belongs in its courts. If part of this is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
